Descanso del Quijote

Welcome to "Rest of the Quixote", Bed nestled in the beautiful town of Belmonte, in the province of Cuenca, in the heart of the Route of Don Quixote.

Our house has a capacity for 10 people. It has 5 spacious "suite". All rooms have private bathroom and TV. It also has a large living room, fully equipped kitchen, a Castilian patio and garden terrace with swimming pool. The house has been decorated combining elements of architecture and decoration typical Manchego with the personal style of the owners.

Belmonte home to major tourist attractions, among which the Castle of the fifteenth century, one of the most photogenic Españay true hallmark of the area, and The Collegiate Church of San Bartholomew. The sunsets and sunsets from its majestic referred Belmonte Castle are spectacular.

The castle has been the scene for filming numerous films, among which are "El Cid" (1951) starring Charlton Heston and Sophia Loren, who stayed in our village during filming.

Belmonte is the ideal 1-day excursions enclave. Some interesting options are: Cuenca (1 h 15 min.), Mills Mota del Cuervo (15 min.), El Toboso: House Dulcinea (25 min.), Mills Criptana (35 min. ) Ruidera (1 h 30 min.) Villaescusa de Haro (10 min.), Roman Ruins Segobriga (45 min.) Uclés (Monastery) (1h 10 min.).
