Description of Ca la Nuri
Senan, is a small village of stone houses, surrounded by forests and mountains, its origin dates back to 1159.
The altitude of the village is 652 mtrs. The extension of the municipal area of 11.90 km2.
The houses that form are divided between:. Former Centre, Church side of the suburb and suburb Creu de la Font, where there was an old glass furnace eighteenth century, now disappeared
The church of Santa Maria de Senan. It is the most iconic building in the village. Romanesque style, was built at the end of the twelfth century, under the leadership of the monks of Montserrat.
El Raco de la Font. is a space, near the village, enabled to cookout with benches and tables. The source which gives its name provides fresh water.
History. The first document that refers to Senan is the year 1159 and is cited as "castrum Mata Senan".
The first feudal Senan were Guerau Granyena Saurina and his wife (1149) .
The year 1244 it came under the rule of the monastery of Montserrat.
