Caleton del Golfo, Apartamento Abuelos

The Gulf Caleton is an old house, located in the Gulf southwest of the island of Lanzarote, by the sea, in the village of The Gulf and bordering the National Park of Timanfaya. Family owned since the late nineteenth century was always used as a residence for holidays.

In 2000 it was adapted for its current use to provide accommodations. It has 3 fully equipped apartments. Traditional elements that existed in the typical Canarian architecture house were preserved. In the first restoration of the same in the 60 intervened Cesar Manrique cousin of the then owners. The house revolves around a courtyard with its cistern that collects rainwater from the roofs, and distributed to the rooms facing the same. We wanted to keep intact the magnificent terrace to continue to enjoy it as much sun, eat or contemplate the unique sunsets.

From The Gulf Caletón participate in environmental protection, so we recycle waste and actively seek to make all possible using energy saving light bulbs, drip irrigation, saving faucet flow tanks double burden, and everything needed for the footprint we leave on the island is as small as possible.

The Terrace: A large terrace measuring 200 square meters with hammocks and outdoor furniture.

Take the Lz-2 turning left towards Yaiza, Yaiza contact without deviation. When you get to go straight on Yaiza LZ-2 towards Playa Blanca, Yaiza just past the roundabout take the left turn off for the LZ-704 address the Gulf. Find an intersection and take the LZ-703 turn right towards El Golfo, once there the house is to the left of the road.



Take the LZ-2 turning left towards Yaiza. When you reach the straight Yaiza LZ-2 head towards Playa Blanca, just past the roundabout take the left towards the LZ-704 address the Gulf. After a bend you will see a sign with the Gulf take the LZ-703 towards the right, eleven at the first town the Gulf, you will find the house on the left hand side of the road.
