The cottage Cortijo El Mohedano is a traditional construction in the middle of a cattle farm in the county of Los Pedroches.

The house consists of two areas: the big house with capacity for 1415 people and the "haystack", an annex with separate entrance, equipped with a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge-library with a sofa bed for 2 people.

The cottage has 2 living rooms, two fully equipped kitchens, 1 game room with pool table, backyard barbecue, gazebo and toilet, wood stove, porch and pool bath with dressing .

The farmhouse is located 7 kms. away from Villanueva de Córdoba, where the opening of a station on the AVE line is planned.

The house is one of the most authentic examples of the construction of rural county: granite, lime and oak beams, make up this building, equipped with modern amenities such as central heating , dishwashers, refrigerators, electric ovens. Fireplaces and wood stoves give this farmhouse a special joy in the days of winter. It also has a large backyard barbecue and wood oven for baking bread and roasting lamb.

Its walls 80 inches make the house is cool in summer and warm in winter. The farmhouse has four double bedrooms and a loft with five beds.
